Realme Ram Expansion New device list

Realme has launched new feature which is Ram Expansion Feature. This feature is not new in mobiles we are using this feature from long time. The difference is that previously we are was using some Ram expanding software to exapand Ram on increase Ram. But now this feature is officially available in some devices. Xiaomi named this feature Memory extension feature and Realme named this feature Dynamic Ram Expansion feature.

Now what is Ram expansion ?

Ram expansion is the feature in which your internal storage is used as RAM to increase the device performance. Suppose your device having 3GB of Ram and you want to expand Ram by 1GB. Then you can increase 1GB of ram from setting and your total RAM will be now 4GB.

Does it works as Physical RAM ?

NO ! Ultimately physical ram is more powerfull than virtual Ram / expanded ram. Cause the data transfer speed of Physical Ram is more than virtual ram.

How to Enable Ram expansion feature in Realme ?

First of all let me tell you this feature is not available for all devices only few devices eligible for RAM expansion. Only those devices are eligible they can enable this feature.

How to enable ram expansion ?

1. Go to settings.

2. Click on About phone.

3. Find option RAM.

4. Tap multiple times on RAM option.

5. Here Ram expansion feature is enabled now.

6. Move the slider and set the ram size to be Expand.
